BMW 327 Coupe 1939 for sale

The first owner was a German of Jewish descent named Stein, who purchased the car on February 14, 1940, from the BMW dealer in Cologne. For understandable reasons, he emigrated to Illinois/USA in the spring. Mr. Stein kept the car for about 10 years and then sold it to a German-American in the state of Oklahoma. Due to a lack of spare parts, the BMW was no longer used from 1978 onwards. The resulting damage made it unfit for driving, and so the BMW was sold in 1989 to an interested party in Düsseldorf/Germany. The 327 was then completely restored and modified over a period of 5 years. During the restoration, the engine was replaced with an identical engine from the 326 series and overhauled. The electronics were also brought up to the technical standards of the time. It was not until 1995 that the vehicle was registered and driven by the then owner. In the spring of 2008, the coupe changed hands for the last time. The BMW is now excellently documented. The entire history has been recorded from the perspective of the 3rd owner, all invoices, documents, and receipts are available, as well as photos of the restoration and several appraisals.
