The story
FERRARI 575M MARANELLO (F133 EBE) – 2003 Brand: Ferrari Model: 575M Maranello Year: 2003 Chassis: 130965 Engine: F133E – 65° V12 naturally aspirated Displacement: 5,748 cc Power: 515 HP (380 kW) at 7,250 rpm Maximum Torque: 588 Nm at 5,250 rpm Transmission: Manual or F1 electro-actuated 6-speed Drive: Rear Odometer: 23,850 km Interior: Black leather Exterior: Ferrari Red Description This Ferrari 575M Maranello, chassis no. 130965, was registered by the Ferrari dealership Forza S.p.A. in Turin on February 12, 2003, in favor of an important Italian industry. Since then, it has always remained in Italy and has had only a few collector owners who have kept it with great care, maintaining it constantly in excellent condition. To date, the car has only covered 23,850 kilometers, all extensively documented through the service history performed at official Ferrari dealerships and the mandatory periodic inspections carried out over the years. The vehicle is in perfect condition in every aspect, both aesthetic and mechanical. The timing belts have been recently replaced, thus ensuring an important maintenance intervention already carried out according to the standards required by the Maranello House. The color combination of Ferrari Red with black leather interior undoubtedly represents the most iconic, elegant, and desired configuration by enthusiasts and collectors of the brand. Similarly, the classic Gran Turismo architecture of Ferrari with a front V12 engine and rear-wheel drive constitutes one of the purest expressions of the tradition of the Prancing Horse. Model History Introduced in 2002 as an evolution of the famous Ferrari 550 Maranello, the 575M Maranello represents one of the last great analog V12 Ferraris produced before the advent of modern high-electronics GTs. The letter M identifies the word Modified, highlighting the numerous updates made compared to the 550. The project maintained the philosophy that had brought Ferrari back to the tradition of grand tourers with a front twelve-cylinder engine and rear-wheel drive, a configuration that had made historic models like the 365 GTB/4 Daytona famous. The 575M further refined the concept thanks to an increased displacement, superior performance, better weight distribution, and an even more refined driving dynamics. Technical Features The heart of the 575M is the Ferrari F133E engine, a magnificent 5,748 cc naturally aspirated V12 derived from the unit of the 550 Maranello but deeply evolved. The power reaches 515 HP, allowing for extraordinary performance even today: Top speed: over 325 km/h Acceleration 0-100 km/h: about 4.2 seconds Naturally aspirated Ferrari V12 at 65° Double overhead camshaft distribution per bank Four valves per cylinder Dry sump lubrication derived from Ferrari's racing experience The 575M was also the first road-going Ferrari V12 to be equipped with the second-generation F1 electro-actuated gearbox, derived directly from Scuderia Ferrari's experience in Formula 1. The tubular steel chassis, combined with electronically controlled independent suspensions and a sophisticated vehicle dynamics management system, ensures a perfect balance between long-distance comfort and sporty behavior at high speeds. Production and Rarity The Ferrari 575M Maranello was produced from 2002 to 2006 in relatively limited numbers compared to modern Ferrari standards. The total production was about 2,056 coupe units, to which are added a few hundred Superamerica versions. Today, the model is considered one of the best investments in the landscape of modern collectible Ferraris due to several factors: Limited production. Large displacement naturally aspirated V12 engine.
