Year 1974 Conditions The Innocenti Mini Cooper 1300 is a sporty version of the Mini, produced by Innocenti under license from British Leyland between 1972 and 1975. It stands out for its 1275 cc engine, high performance, and specific interior trim specifications and the characteristic black grille with black wheel arches. Specifically, we are talking about an Innocenti in excellent overall condition. The interiors are beautiful and original with a black faux leather dashboard with six Veglia instruments, smaller faux leather steering wheel, sporty seats in fabric and faux leather from OMP with integrated headrests. All instrumentation is functional and the entire electrical system is in excellent condition. Externally, the bodywork is in good condition, the original front grille, front and rear badges are in excellent condition. It features a Monza type fuel cap, the wheel arches are body-colored accompanied by shiny black BWA racing alloy wheels. Mechanically, this Innocenti is practically new with modifications carried out by one of the best specialized workshops in the sector, and for those in the Mini world, they know what we are talking about: primarily from Lolli workshop, then for the preparation Officine Dall’asta and lately from University Motor. Its modifications are: Camshaft Kit 276, replacement of tappets, rocker arm, oil pump, aluminum radiator, reinforced racing differential and Aldon distributor. The gearbox has been completely overhauled like all the normal wear parts of the Mini. Equipped with adjustable front and rear suspension. The car delivers 87 hp on the dyno. Page booklet and black license plate. Very recent tires, as the car has done few km since it was prepared. For true Mini enthusiasts who have the passion to reach 180 km/h with these little gems. Curiosity Acquired by Innocenti in 1972, British Leyland planned the gradual redirection to Lambrate of the production of Minis destined for MEC countries (excluding Great Britain); hence the strengthening of the assembly lines and the presentation of the Export series in 1973. To achieve the planned objectives (90,000 vehicles by the end of '73, 110,000 by '75), the assembly line of the Lambretta scooter was transferred to India.
