We are pleased to offer this rare and incredibly original Rover Mini factory convertible on behalf of a customer. In the rare color British Racing Green metallic, it comes from the last year of production, 1996. With just 56,000 kilometers driven, it presents itself rust-free, dry, and well-maintained in a unique original condition. A total of only 1081 units were produced from July 1993 to August 1996, most of them in Nightfire Red or Caribbean Blue. The body kit and the 12-inch Revolution alloy wheels are part of the standard equipment, as are the Recaro seats and the walnut dashboard. Due to the convertible-specific reinforcements, the convertible weighs about 50 kilograms more than the sedan. The vehicle was originally registered as a demonstration vehicle for a well-known company and was driven only just under 2,000 km within 2 years. The current owner purchased the car in 1998 and has since driven it only a few kilometers per year. In 2004, the car was completely cavity-sealed by a specialized workshop. Additionally, annual maintenance and oil changes have been carried out. The current owner has invested over €10,000 to customize the convertible to his liking. He had the entire roof, including the cover, renewed and the seats reupholstered. Not only the seats but also the rear seat and all side panels have been fitted with new leather. The dark green combined with the new saddle brown leather upholstery is one of my favorite color combinations for vehicles. Unique driving pleasure in summer is guaranteed.
