Volpini - Arzani Formula Junior Chassis 004 from 1958 Purchased in the late 70s, probably in the United States, by Nazario Bacchi from Forli, one of the first and most important Italian collectors of historic racing cars, and then passed on to Alfonzo di Patrizio from Teramo, then a BMW dealer, a well-known collector and friend of Taraschi, in 1988 it was purchased by the Bolognese driver Fabio Montani who had it prepared to race in the championship reserved for Formula Junior obtaining both the FIA and CSAI fiches, after a few years of racing it was bought by a collector and never used again for several years. Upon arriving in our hands, it underwent a thorough mechanical restoration with the following work just completed: engine completely overhauled at 0 km, gearbox completely overhauled with replacement of seals, bearings, and synchro. brakes completely overhauled (cylinders, pump, pipes, shoes, and drum machining) 4 new belted tires and 4 original period Borrani wheels overhauled electrical system checked, new battery and perfect and functioning instruments new aluminum tank; all work is documented with photos.
