The story

On September 25, 1957, Eridania sold the Alfa Romeo to Fidia S.R.L. of Genoa for the sum of 300,000 lire. The owner of Fidia, Mr. Antonio Luscardo, sold the car on March 24, 1971, to Mr. Arnaldo Ginocchio, who kept it until 1989, when he sold the car to Mondo VI SpA. On March 30, 1995, chassis number 915873 changed ownership, but a year later the car was sold back to the previous owner. On May 22, 1997, the Italian Alfa Romeo Register (RIAR) approved chassis number 915873 and confirmed the certification on June 10 of that year, after it had met their high standards. A note on their certificate praises the car for adhering to factory specifications. In 1998, this car also received an ASI identity card, which belongs to the car. This Alfa Romeo 6C 2500 SS is an extremely well-preserved specimen, with the original interior, and has always remained in Italian hands. The car is still registered with the original license plate from Genoa. The body is painted in Bordeaux red, contrasting with a beige soft top and a blood-red leather interior. The car comes with RIAR and ASI homologation documents and an Alfa Romeo Certificate of Origin. During the inspection, it was confirmed that chassis number 915783 still has the engine with the corresponding numbers. Being one of only 383 examples built with a short wheelbase, along with its valuable certification, this 6C 2500 Super Sport will surely attract attention on the public road or in the concours field. The car offers a wonderful opportunity to acquire one of Alfa Romeo's most iconic post-war designs, very suitable for all major historic rallies and concours events. Certainly! The Alfa Romeo 6C 2500 SS Short Wheelbase Cabriolet Pinin Farina is a stunning classic that perfectly reflects the elegance and craftsmanship of the 1950s. This car was designed by the famous Italian design house Pinin Farina and is known for its refined lines and elegant appearance.
