Alfa Romeo Giulietta 1300 Sprint from 1959, light blue color with blue and gray upholstery, probably the most beautiful color combination for this Alfa Romeo model designed by Bertone. What can I say about the car? In my opinion, it speaks for itself, elegance, sobriety in the lines but so decisive that it makes it unique, and then, the mechanics, there are no comparisons with later models, the emotion it transmits to you while driving is unparalleled, or simply, I like it a lot, and I can't find any flaws. Fantastic line, excellent road behavior, more than good comfort, considering we are talking about a coupe and especially from the '50s, when the car had to be just an object to be displayed, and everything else was put in the background, not for nothing, versions were born, at least for other car manufacturers, like the OTS for Jaguar or the Speedster for Porsche, where the focus was very much on cost, they had to be cheap, but have the minimum, and that minimum was enough to make them unique and highly appreciated at the time, and especially now. As always, simplicity pays off, and not for nothing, the line of the Giulietta Sprint remains among my favorites, very simple, but as I said a moment ago, decisive, in fact, it is impossible not to recognize it at first glance, even when you see it appearing in the distance. Why buy this Alfa Romeo Giulietta Sprint 1300? Because it has been fully restored, respecting the original characteristics, and above all, disassembling every single piece, cleaning the body thoroughly, then carrying out those small bodywork interventions it had and that have been meticulously repaired before being repainted to new inside and out, underneath and above, the same for the mechanics, the chrome and the interiors. The engine has been completely overhauled and corresponds, it is its AR 00102, all the instrumentation is in km, even though it was imported from the United States, from the west coast, to be precise. At the moment, only 750 km have been driven after the restoration, and almost all by me, and I can confirm that it is my favorite, I love the sound, the line, the driving comfort, but not only how you sit, but how you appreciate it kilometer after kilometer.
