The record of this example is remarkable. In 1984, it won in Group A at the Lyon-Charbonnières Rally, the Mont-Blanc Rally, and the Tour de France Automobile. It also finished second in Group A at the Tour de Corse, a round of the World Rally Championship. The following year, in 1985, it confirmed its potential with a second place in Group A at the International Rally of Garrigues and then at the Tour de Corse.
