The track record of this specimen is remarkable. In 1984, it won in Group A at the Rally Lyon-Charbonnières, at the Rally of Mont Blanc, and at the Tour de France Automobile. It also finished second in Group A at the Tour of Corsica, a stage of the World Rally Championship. The following year, in 1985, it confirmed its potential with a second place in Group A at the International Rally of Garrigues and then at the Tour of Corsica. At the end of the 1985 season, the car ceased all competitive activity. Rigorously preserved in its original state since that date, it presents today as it was during its last race, with its roll-bar, its seats, and even the traces left by the specials.
