Thanks to Pininfarina's elegant and innovative design, as well as reliable and performing mechanics, the Spider succeeds not without difficulty. The Coda Tronca version will have an exceptionally long career as the Spider will remain in the catalog until 1993, that is, 27 years, all versions included! Bodywork / Exterior: The model presented here is a January 1973 ALFA ROMEO Spider 1300 Junior in its original color "Metallic Silver 767" (Matched color). The bodywork is in excellent presentation condition. It has benefited from a complete restoration a few years ago. The paint has a uniform shade and excellent brightness. After a professional polishing performed with orbitals from our workshop, we found some small chips on the edge of the driver's door and on the edge of the left rear wing. We also noticed some small dents on the doors. The chrome bumpers are perfectly positioned and in good original condition. We found a small deformation on the upper chrome of the driver and passenger. The PVC hood color "Black" is in excellent original condition with no tears or distensions. The glass of the rear window is perfectly soft and translucent despite some fine micro-scratches and a slight engraving in the lower right corner. The opening is smooth and the seal remains compliant with the standards of the time. This specimen has a black imitation leather hood cover in perfect condition. The 4 original ALFA ROMEO 14'' steel wheels are also in good condition, as are their 4 stainless steel hubcaps. The front tires will be replaced with new ones before delivery. The rear FALKEN tires show 15% wear. The original 14'' spare wheel and its jack are well present in the trunk. Among the interesting Bodywork / Exterior equipment and options that this specimen is equipped with, we noted: the 4 original 14'' steel wheels, the chrome mirrors, and the black imitation leather hood cover. Interior: The Bordeaux imitation leather upholstery and the matched stitching (Matched color) are in good original condition. The Bordeaux imitation leather interior doors are in perfect condition. The tops of the interior doors show some small cracks and crazing. The original black imitation leather dashboard cover is in perfect condition, with no breaks or cracks. The gray dashboard is in good condition, despite a small scratch on the driver's side. The entire original VEGLIA BORLETTI instrumentation is perfectly functional. The original ALFA ROMEO wooden steering wheel is in good condition as is the wooden gear knob. The vintage BLAUPUNKT radio is perfectly functional. The rubber floor mats with the ALFA ROMEO logo are in good condition. Among the interesting Interior equipment and options that this specimen is equipped with, we noted: The Bordeaux imitation leather upholstery with matched interior doors and the original 3-spoke wooden ALFA ROMEO steering wheel. Chassis: The lift confirms a healthy body, with no signs of accidents or apparent structural corrosion. The fundamentals: floors, sills, lower wing parts, spare wheel well, and wheel arches are in good condition. We found a sign of old repair.
