TC 108 1957 for sale

The Alvis TC 108G is a British sports car produced by Alvis Cars between 1956 and 1958. The Swiss coachbuilders Graber had produced for the TC21 some bodies that were much more modern than the standard offering built by Mulliners (Birmingham) for Alvis. The Willowbrook body proved too expensive and few were sold. The agreement was terminated and a new contract was signed with Park Ward Alvis after it had purchased the designs, molds, etc. from Graber. The new car was named TD21 and went into production in October 1958. The 2993 cc engine was slightly upgraded to produce 104 hp (78 kW) at 4,000 rpm by modifying the cylinder head and fitting dual SU carburetors. The suspension was the same as the TC 21, with independent front suspension via coil springs and leaf springs at the rear. This car has been almost completely restored over a period of more than 3 years. A beautiful photo book has been made of this restoration showing everything about this deep restoration.
