The story

Number 84 of 150 vehicles ever built Only 350 KM driven From first owner Unique configuration Service plan until October 2026 German vehicle When Adrian Newey, the most successful Formula 1 designer of all time, first had the idea of building the most extreme road car ever in 2012 on a beach in the Maldives, the choice fell on Aston Martin, one of the main sponsors of the Red Bull Formula 1 team at the time. The first sketches of the "Project Nebula", a play on words between Newey, Red Bull, and Lagonda Aston Martin, were made by Adrian Newey in Milton Keynes on his famous hand-drawing pad. These led to the Valkyrie concept "AM-RB 001", which was first presented to the public on July 15, 2016. The following years were used by Aston Martin for the challenging development of the ambitious vision of the Formula 1 legend. Renowned partners were recruited, each of whom was and still is an absolute expert in their field. Thus, the engines were supplied by Cosworth, the batteries by Rimac, the tires by Michelin, the electronics by Bosch, and the monocoque by Multimatic. Just under a year later, on March 6, 2017, the final name "Valkyrie" was announced, which finds its origins in Norse mythology and, like all modern Aston Martin models, starts with the letter V. After further years of development, also thanks to the support of Formula 1 multiple champion Max Verstappen, the final production vehicle was presented in 2019 at the Geneva International Motor Show. However, the series production of the 150 coupes only began in November 2021, due to the long and demanding development work. Despite Euro6 emissions, the naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V12 engine, akin to a symphony, produces 1,015 hp at a maximum of 11,100 rpm. Together with the electric motor, located between the combustion engine and the transmission, the Valkyrie achieves a system power of 1,155 hp, with a curb weight of only 1,270 KG. The concept of active aerodynamics, which combines philosophies from Le Mans and Formula 1, produces so much aerodynamic downforce that, in addition to the DRS, special flaps have also been integrated into the diffuser, which reduce the aerodynamic load; otherwise, the road tires would explode under the gigantic force. To save weight and find space in Newey's compact creation, Aston Martin opted for a sequential gearbox from motorsport, which is smaller and lighter than a typical dual-clutch transmission. Gears can be engaged via the magnetic shift paddles on the removable steering wheel, without having to operate a clutch pedal, as is usually the case with gearboxes of this type. This is made possible by a small electric motor from Ricardo, which takes care of the starting. Many incredible details and stories make the overall work of art Valkyrie perfect. With participation starting in 2025 and a possible victory of the racing version "Valkyrie AMR LMH" at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the Valkyrie has the chance to enter history as the legend of its time, just like the McLaren F1. The story of number 84 of 150 Valkyrie coupes ever built began on January 9, 2017, with the confirmation of the order and an expected delivery date in the third quarter of 2019. An update on the order status followed on November 7, 2017. The unique configuration of the vehicle was finalized on December 8, 2022, and confirmed by the first owner with the final payment. On October 10, 2023, the long-awaited first delivery took place with a mileage of 225 km to the first and so far only owner of this vehicle, who subsequently registered it in Germany. The first maintenance service at the specialized Aston Martin Valkyrie service center took place on June 25, 2024, with a mileage of 276 km. The second maintenance service occurred on February 18, 2025, with 338 km. Both were carried out as part of the service plan, active until October 2026. Currently, the small seats with upright backs are installed. Additionally, the large seat option with cushions on the monocoque has been ordered, which will be installed at the time of delivery.
