In 1964, the Mini made history with its victory at the Monte Carlo Rally: like the story of David versus Goliath, the "mighty Mini" left behind the competition from Mercedes, Porsche, Ford, Renault, Citroën, and Saab, achieving a furious victory that no one expected.
