BMW 327 Coupe 1939 for sale

The first owner was a German of Jewish descent named Stein, who purchased the car on February 14, 1940, at the BMW dealership in Cologne. For understandable reasons, he emigrated in the spring to Illinois/USA. Mr. Stein kept the car for about 10 years and then sold it to a German-American in the state of Oklahoma. Due to a lack of spare parts, the BMW was no longer used since 1978. The resulting damage made it unfit for circulation, and so the BMW was sold in 1989 to an interested party in Düsseldorf/Germany. The 327 was then completely restored and modified over a period of 5 years. During the restoration, the engine was replaced with an identical engine from the 326 series and overhauled. The electronics were also updated to the state of the art of the time. Only in 1995 was the vehicle registered and driven by the then owner. In the spring of 2008, the coupe changed hands for the last time. The BMW is now excellently documented. The entire history has been written from the perspective of the 3rd owner, all invoices, documents, and receipts are available, as well as photos of the restoration and various appraisals.
