The story
No. 223 of only 252 units built First delivery in Germany Completely restored in the early '80s Excellent condition Rudge wheels Good documentation The BMW 507, designed by Count Görtz as a counterpart to the Mercedes 300 SL of competitor BMW from Stuttgart, is considered the ultimate automotive design icon. During the production period, only 252 units were built, much less than the competition from Mercedes. Today these vehicles are even more desirable. Owning such a vehicle means ascending to the Olympus of classic car collectors. This BMW 507 was ordered in Duisburg and shortly thereafter registered in Switzerland. In the mid-'80s it returned to Germany, where it was carefully restored. Even today, the period paint impresses with its quality. Since the late '80s this BMW has been re-registered in Germany and has been in the hands of German collectors until today.
