Replacing the 3.0 Cs and Csi coupes, this model will be the most produced of the 6 series with over 50,000 units sold in 11 years. In 1978 BMW presented the 635 coupe in mechanical injection version: the famous Csi. Heavier but more luxurious than its predecessor, the 635 Csi coupe represents an interesting compromise by proposing new engines on a now proven 5 series platform. The 5-speed manual transmission allows the 6-cylinder 3.5 to express itself fully and gives this coupe initially classified as GT a more sporty character, in line with its aggressive and elongated line. The 6 Csi series will be declined in 5 versions: 628 Csi, 630 Csi, 633 Csi, 635 Csi and 635 M. Its extraordinarily pure and taut line combined with reliable and high-performance engines will make the 635 Csi one of the most beautiful sports coupes of the time. Body / Exterior: The model presented here is a March 1985 Coupé 635 Csi in its original "Alpine Weiss 146" color (matching color). The paint shows excellent brightness and depth. After a professional polishing carried out by our workshop with orbitals, we noticed the presence of a small dent on the top of the passenger side grille and a slight corrected scratch on the top of the right rear wing. The foam wing and the original spoiler are in perfect condition. The fog lights are fully functional. This specimen is equipped with a Webasto sunroof color "Weiss" in perfect condition. Its seal is compliant with the standards of the time. The electric chrome rearview mirrors and the electric antenna are fully functional. We noticed a small crack on the cabochon of the right rear indicator. The front and rear bumpers are in excellent original condition. We detected two small scratches on the front bumper and some slight deformations on the rear bumper. The chrome roof moldings have some scratches. The 4 14'' alloy wheels are in excellent presentation condition despite some signs of rubbing. The 4 MICHELIN TRX tires will be replaced with new ones before delivery. This specimen comes with its jack and original aluminum spare wheel. Among the interesting body equipment and options that this model is equipped with, we noted: fog lights, electric chrome rearview mirrors, Webasto sunroof color "Weiss" and electric antenna. Interior: The interior has maintained its rigorous original configuration and appears in excellent presentation condition. The "Schwarz 0226" leather upholstery is in excellent condition, with no tears, scratches or discoloration. The "Schwarz 0226" imitation leather doors are in perfect condition. The dashboard and its visor are also in excellent condition, with no cracks or discoloration. The entire on-board instrumentation is fully functional. This specimen is equipped with a BMW Bavaria cassette radio connected to the original HiFi system. The original BMW 3-spoke sports steering wheel in "Schwarz" leather is in good condition, showing a uniform patina of use. The "Schwarz" leather gear knob is also in good condition, showing a uniform patina of use. The 4 electric windows are fully functional.
