The interior progresses in ergonomics (driving position) and the chassis gains in rigidity. However, the rear drum brake remains insufficient compared to the weight and performance of the car, despite a body entirely made of polyester. Body / Exterior: The model presented here is a January 1965 Corvette Stingray in its original color "Milano Maron Metallizzato MM" (corresponding color) equipped with a rare and highly sought-after option: the original hard top. The polyester body is in good condition. After a professional polishing performed with an orbit from our workshop, we noticed a small paint chip and a fine crack on the driver's door, a trace of rubbing on the rear bumper and on the edge of the right rear wing, as well as a scratch. We also noticed some small paint chips corrected at the level of the roof covering, the wing, and the right rear light. The tinted "Blue" windshield is in good condition. The chrome bumpers are perfectly positioned and in excellent condition. The chrome parts show no signs of oxidation. The CHEVROLET chrome mirrors are also in almost new condition. The PVC roof color "White" is in good condition, with no tears or discoloration. Its installation is easy and its fit is compliant with the standards of the time. The glass of the rear window is perfectly translucent. This specimen is equipped with a rare option: the original hard top color "Milano Maroon Metallic MM". This is in good presentation condition and positions easily. Its fit is compliant with the standards of the time. The retractable headlights work perfectly and show no signs of cracks or sealing issues. The 4 steel wheels 15'' and their original VET hubcaps are also in excellent condition. The latter are mounted on 4 whitewall tires with wear of less than 10% in front and 20% in the rear. This specimen has its original spare wheel. Among the interesting body equipment and options that this model is equipped with, we noted: the original hard top color "Milano Maroon Metallic MM" and the tinted "Blue" windshield. Interior: The interior has maintained its strict original configuration and appears in excellent presentation condition. The "Maroon Vinyl STD" imitation leather upholstery is in excellent condition and shows a uniform patina. The dashboard is also in excellent condition, with no cracks or discoloration. The entire onboard instrumentation is perfectly functional, as is the original clock. Only the daily odometer is no longer operational. This specimen is equipped with power steering. The original DELCO radio, as well as the electric antenna, are also in perfect working condition. This specimen is equipped with a modern VALEO head-up display installed on the dashboard cover. The original bakelite steering wheel is in good condition despite some small cracks.
