Benz 290 „Sportroadster“ 1934 for sale

The base for the restoration was a short wheelbase MB 290 limousine. The 1957 DDR vehicle registration document is available. During the complete restoration, the vehicle received a detailed (1:1) body of the sports roadster. The engine corresponds to the later version with 50 kW / 68 hp. The transmission, Maybach system, features the famous overdrive. It is wonderfully easy to shift gears. To enhance comfort, power steering and brake assistance have been installed, making driving a pure joy.
