This was shown for the first time at the Brussels Show, early that year. However, it was much more than a 250 with a new engine, with a sharper nose and tail, four headlights, and a wide grille. The power remained the same at 300 hp (220 kW). The wheelbase was 50 mm (2.0 inches) longer, but the adjustable Koni shock absorbers improved handling. A Dunlop dual-circuit braking system was used with discs all around, although the front and rear brakes were separated instead of diagonal as in modern systems. At the factory exit, the 330 GTs were originally fitted with Pirelli Cinturato 205VR15 (CN72) tires. The 1965 Series II version had a five-speed transmission instead of the four-speed overdrive transmission of the previous year. Other changes included a return to a dual headlight instead of a quadruple headlight, lightweight alloy wheels, and the addition of optional air conditioning and power steering.
