Introduced in 1992, the 512 TR was one of the last developments of the sensational Ferrari supercar of Testarossa. The flagship model of Ferrari, the Testarossa reinvigorated a famous name from the Italian company's past when it arrived in 1984. A new generation "Berlinetta Boxer," the Testarossa retained its flat-12 front-mounted engine; the latter now boasts a maximum power elevated to 380 hp, thanks to the four-valve heads. Despite the increase in power, the smoothness and drivability have been improved, the car features excellent top gear flexibility, allied to a top speed of 180 miles per hour. Unlike some of its rivals, the Testarossa had light controls and was relatively easy to drive, factors that, combined with its exceptional performance and stunning looks, contributed to a high and constant level of demand.
