It is a special limited edition of 799 units and the latest evolution of the Ferrari F12 Berlinetta, developed as a tribute to the legendary Tour de France for cars, a long-distance race that Ferrari dominated in the 1950s and 1960s. The abbreviation tdf represents this historical reference and emphasizes the focus on maximum driving dynamics. Aesthetically, the F12 tdf stands out for its even more aggressive aerodynamics. A revised front bumper with larger air intakes, pronounced wheel arches, a prominent rear diffuser, and a fixed rear wing not only enhance the appearance but also significantly improve the dynamics. A wider track, special air channels, and active aerodynamic elements ensure that the vehicle remains stable and precise at high speeds. Under the long hood works a naturally aspirated 6.3-liter V12 engine, delivering an impressive power of 780 hp and developing a maximum torque of 705 Nm. This allows the F12 tdf to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.9 seconds and reach a top speed of over 340 km/h. The seven-speed dual-clutch transmission has been revised for even faster shift times, while the weight has been reduced by about 110 kilograms compared to the standard F12. This has also been achieved thanks to the use of carbon for many body components. A key technical element is the so-called Virtual Short Wheelbase System, a rear steering system that ensures extraordinary agility in corners and which was installed for the first time in the F12 tdf in a Ferrari road vehicle. In combination with the stiffer-tuned chassis and more direct steering, the F12 tdf offers an extremely precise and immediate driving feel. Inside, a race-oriented atmosphere reigns. Lightweight sports seats, extensive use of Alcantara, carbon, and aluminum, along with the almost total absence of superfluous comfort elements, underline the uncompromising character of the vehicle. However, the F12 tdf remains quite practical for everyday use, even over long distances. The vehicle is a symbiosis of the classic Ferrari V12 character, the most modern racing technology, and limited exclusivity. It combines the elegance and versatility of a Gran Turismo with the uncompromising performance of a racing car, making it a vehicle that excites both collectors and driving enthusiasts. This F12 tdf was produced in 2016 in the Extra Range Grigio Stilverstone Opaco color combined with my black stripe on the hood. The first owner from Berlin received the vehicle for the first time upon delivery from Ferrari Berlin on June 30, 2016. Even before delivery, the vehicle was registered in the name of the owner's company and inspected by Ferrari, which led to a "Yellow Book," the certificate for special vehicles. The tdf remained in the Berlin-based collection and received its first maintenance from Ferrari Berlin in February 2018, although it was not driven by the collector. In the summer of 2018, the car first came into our hands and shortly thereafter, before it was publicly put up for sale, it was sold to its second owner, a Swiss stock corporation. However, in Switzerland, the vehicle was never registered, which is why it still has the German registration document today with a single registration from the first owner. In January 2021, the Ferrari was entrusted to us again for safe storage and serviced for the following years at Mechatronik. After the second owner decided to part with the vehicle, our company made the purchase and shortly thereafter, marketing began. Thanks to the few previous owners, who have always seen the F12 tdf as a collector's item and treated it accordingly, it is in sensational, like-new condition with only 205 km on the clock. Additionally, original accessories such as the complete map, the Yellow Book, a car cover, a charger, and the spare key are available.
