The story
The car has the Balilla engine with the rare Siata-style cylinder head (ohv). The Fiat belongs to the rare Sport Spider type, which was developed for the Mille Miglia in the 1930s and whose body was designed by GHIA. In 1937 it was bodied in France by the well-known coachbuilder KELSCH in Paris with the GHIA-specified body. The 508S has remained unchanged and original ever since! It has been regularly serviced and cared for, taken on running drives and, in earlier days, entered in many rallies in France and elsewhere in Europe. Provenance of the Balilla 508 S Sport Spider: ...until 1981 Mr L. Salmon, Monnaie Mr B. Morel, Paris Mr F. Morel (took the car over from his father) Only one owner in Germany The information provided here consists of non-binding descriptions. It does not constitute warranted characteristics.
