Euro 18.900.00 The Fiat 600 Savio Jungla Year of manufacture 1970, engine capacity C.C. 600, liquid cooling with front and rear radiator, is a leisure car, a type of car also known as a beach car, produced by the Carrozzeria Savio between the sixties and seventies. Small open car with rear-wheel drive, it was wanted by Cavalier Gianni Agnelli to counter the Cagiva Mini Moke and was made by Carrozzeria Savio. The mechanics were the same as the Fiat 600 D while the wheels and tires 5.20×14 were those of the Fiat 1100. The line was very squared and deviated significantly from that of the cars from which it originated. Presented at the Turin Motor Show in 1965 with the name giungla, later modified to jungla, the car could reach a top speed of 95 km/h. Three pre-series were made: a light green one (from the original brochure) later painted cream with a light cover; a gray model with a black cover later destroyed in an accident; an ivory-colored one with a black roof (later redone in blue) with a modified trunk and an extendable rear backrest for transporting goods up to 250 kg. The latter would also serve as a base for supply to the armed forces having been entrusted to the Cecchignola. Among the distinguishing features, we can remember the collapsible windshield that was placed on two rubber pads fixed to the hood, the very sparse instrumentation (consisting only of the Fiat 500 odometer located to the right of the steering wheel and the oil, fuel reserve, dynamo, high beams and water radiator temperature warning lights), a single wiper with a visible motor, the external spare wheel anchored to the trunk and equipped with an anti-theft bolt cover. It was possible to choose it in eight different colors; green (military and sage), red, orange, yellow (school bus), white, blue, beige. Until 1969 these models instead of doors had simple frames covered in canvas.
