Equipped with the famous 8-valve Pinto engine, it was marketed with a power of 110hp. After the winning MK I in the European Rally Championship in 1968 and 1969, the MKII would be crowned world rally champion in 1979 with Björn Waldegård and in 1981 with Ari Vatanen. This Ford Escort is a true RS2000 (Australian Manufacture) with RS2000 grey paper. It has been in the hands of its owner since 1976.
