The story
Our Jaguar E-Type represents the first evolution this model underwent within its first series. The engine was made more powerful by increasing the displacement to 4,200 cc, and our version is the 2+2 Coupé, characterised by a longer wheelbase, a greater height and, as a result, better roominess for driver and passengers. The car has an entirely Italian history and has been perfectly maintained; it presents in excellent condition, with a charming interior trimmed in black leather with red carpeting. Sixty years ago, on 15 March 1961, the brand-new Jaguar E-Type was launched to the public at the Geneva Motor Show. Never before had a motor car caused such a stir. The order book was promptly filled, and only celebrities and racing drivers could get their hands on one of these models.
