This E-Type was completely restored by a specialist company from 2018 until December 2025. The restoration is very thoroughly documented with many photographs. The car was rebuilt from scratch, always with the aim of restoring original parts. All work was carried out by a company specialising in the restoration of the Jaguar E-Type. Over €40,000 was invested in purchasing all the missing or no-longer-serviceable parts alone. All invoices for every part purchased are available, as are all the invoices from the specialist companies (complete engine overhaul, paintwork, etc.). Countless hours of labour were invested in the vehicle to renew it completely. When the restoration was completed in December 2025, it was necessary to wait for better weather to run the engine in. Up to now, the E-Type has been driven gently for about 500 km in good weather conditions since this spring. A German H registration with a fresh TÜV is available. In addition, during the restoration several technical upgrades were fitted, such as the installation of a fully overhauled gearbox from the 4.2 L variant of the first-series E-Type, to allow noise-free shifting. A temperature-controlled auxiliary fan was also installed. The steering wheel has a slightly smaller diameter, so that taller drivers can also fit comfortably. Furthermore, a stainless-steel manifold was fitted in combination with a "Big Bore" exhaust system. This has a slightly larger diameter and therefore speeds up the flow of the exhaust gases. In addition, a high-performance starter motor and a high-performance alternator were installed. This E-Type of the sought-after first series is ready for its next outing.
