Suffolk Jaguar Sports Cars Ltd. was the only manufacturer officially authorised and supported by Jaguar to produce replicas of the famous S.S. 100. In addition to the supply of original parts, Jaguar confirms that the dimensions correspond completely to the original. Only around 200 vehicles were built in the Suffolk workshops until 2020, before Jaguar withdrew its approval in a controversial decision. Technically, the cars are based on the 70s coupé XJ6. The 4.2l engine with 2 carburettors produces approx. 200 hp, the 4-speed gearbox with overdrive shifts smoothly, the suspension of the front axle is equipped with adjustable Koni dampers, the disc brakes decelerate the car weighing only 1150 kg with ease. Our vehicle was built at the Suffolk factory in 2009. We have an extensive photographic record of the work. The quality of workmanship, especially of this Suffolk, is first class! The car remained in England until 2014, since when it has been in the expert hands of a Munich engineer. Today, the Suffolk has only run approx. 8000 mls, has been meticulously maintained and is in fantastic condition all round. It has a historic vehicle registraton in Germany. A large file with invoices, operating instructions, wiring diagrams, maintenance instructions and other helpful documents is available.
