We acquire it from a Belgian owner, who had it since 1997. During that period, we carry out a complete restoration in our workshops. We intervene on the mechanics, bodywork, and upholstery. The next owner will keep it until 2005. The car then changes hands in 2006, then in 2008. It then remains with the same owner until 2019. Throughout this period, we take care of its exclusive maintenance in our workshops. We then resell it to an owner from northern France. He uses it regularly until today. This specimen is part of the 131 Type E 4.2L Cabriolet of French origin. It has a clear and perfectly documented history. Bodywork: The bodywork was restored in our workshops about 25 years ago and repainted in its British Racing Green color. It is now in excellent condition, perfectly sound, with exemplary door and hood adjustments. The paint offers a beautiful homogeneous patina, without scratches or dents. The chrome is in perfect condition, including the bumpers and wheels, which retain a beautiful shine. Upholstery: The upholstery was completely redone in our workshops before 2000, in an elegant beige tone, and is still in excellent condition today. The black alpaca fabric hood, as well as the beige Ardurra trunk, were also redone during the same period and are perfectly compliant. Engine: The engine was completely redone in our workshops about 25 years ago and has received regular maintenance since then. The oil pressure and compressions are excellent. The engine runs without vibrations and reaches its revs smoothly and regularly. Gearbox: Equipped with a fully synchronized 4-speed manual gearbox, this was redone simultaneously with the engine. Its operation is impeccable: the gears engage smoothly, precisely, and without hiccups. Suspension: The rear end proves stable, offering excellent road holding.
