The story
Introduced in 1948, the Jaguar XK120 was a milestone in post-war sports car design. Combining a sleek, flowing body with the new 3.4-liter inline six-cylinder twin-cam engine developed by Jaguar, it became the fastest production car of its time and laid the groundwork for Jaguar's remarkable sporting successes in the 1950s. Produced in May 1952, this XK120 Open Two-Seater with left-hand drive was delivered new to Hornburg in Los Angeles, California. According to its Jaguar Heritage Certificate, it was originally finished in Birch Grey with red interior and French grey hood. Presented today in superb condition, the car has benefited from extensive recent mechanical servicing, including work on the transmission, suspension, and braking system, along with a body and paint restoration. Accompanied by its Jaguar Heritage Certificate, French registration documents, and a valid Contrôle Technique, this XK120 is ready to be enjoyed on the road. This car is viewable at our premises located in the south of France, by appointment only.
