According to its Jaguar Heritage Trust Certificate, the car shown here was produced on December 22, 1955, and shipped on February 22, 1956, to Jaguar Cars in New York, USA. The car was originally finished in Black and retains its matching numbers engine. In 2007, the car was exported to the Netherlands for the current Dutch owner. The respected XK specialist de Jong then restored the car. Since its restoration, the car has been very well maintained. The current owner has spent over 18,000 Euros on maintenance. The last time the car was serviced was in December 2023.
