The story
Matching Numbers Matching Colours Original leather Supplied new to Germany The Lamborghini Espada is a four-seater coupé. It was built by Lamborghini in Italy from 1968 to 1978. In the Espada, Lamborghini combined its twelve-cylinder engine with an elongated fastback body that is regarded as a milestone in automotive design. The model name Espada is Spanish ("sword") and refers to the sword used by the matador in bullfighting. Our car is one of 578 Series II examples built. It was delivered to the Lamborghini importer Hubert Hahne in Düsseldorf on 24 September 1971. Delivery information from Lamborghini is available. The original colour, then as now, is Blu Notte. The original leather upholstery is well preserved and has a charming patina. The Espada has been in the same ownership for the last 20 years and was lovingly restored there over the years. A large folder with countless invoices is available. The information provided here consists of non-binding descriptions. It does not constitute warranted characteristics.
