The story
In the early 1980s, the Lamborghini Jalpa, successor to the Lamborghini Silhouette, was not only meant to compete with the Ferrari 308 GTS but also to ensure greater sales as the "small" Lambo alongside the Lamborghini Countach. The angular Targa bodywork was an evolution of the Silhouette design in the style of the 1980s - with a mounted front spoiler, more pronounced wheel arches, and pop-up headlights. The technology for the Jalpa was borrowed from the Lamborghini Urraco, whose 3.0-liter V8 was modified by chief engineer Giulio Alfieri to 3.5 liters of displacement due to stricter emissions regulations. Although the engine now produced five less horsepower (255 instead of 260), it offered 40 Nm more torque (310 Nm at 3500/min) and thus greater flexibility in everyday life. The offered Lamborghini Jalpa still has its original white interior and has always been well maintained and serviced. Repair invoices from the last 29 years confirm its condition.
