The story

Maserati Biturbo € 29,500 The Maserati Biturbo was a series of luxury cars produced between 1981 and 1994 by the Italian automotive manufacturer Maserati. When Maserati was acquired in 1976 by De Tomaso, the latter had ambitious plans for the brand: Maserati would launch an affordable sports car to replace the more expensive GT models, such as the Maserati Bora and the Maserati Khamsin, both developed when Maserati was still owned by Citroën. By using a small turbo engine, Maserati was able to provide considerable power at a relatively low price in the luxury car segment. The engine took up relatively little space under the hood, making the Biturbo a compact car. Between 1987 and 1989, a restyling was carried out that gave the original angular design more curves. Several mechanical improvements were also made to the suspension and steering assistance, and the cars were equipped with ventilated front disc brakes.
