"Grün" color carpet Internal cover Spare wheel Jack Our analysis Model history: Introduced at the Geneva Motor Show in 1955, the 190 SL convertible takes the general line of its illustrious ancestor, the fabulous 300 SL. Favoring good taste and comfort dear to the bourgeois clientele to which the brand is addressed, the 190 SL renounces any sporting ambition and receives a placid 4-cylinder, however deemed indestructible. The 190 SL thus defines itself as an elegant and refined convertible destined for chic and quiet travels. Bodywork / Exterior: The model presented here is a 190 SL from July 1959 in its original color "Ivory Elfenben DD608" (Matched color). After a professional polishing carried out with an orbit from our workshop, we found a small corrected paint chip on the top of the left front wing and a small scratch on the right rear wing. The bumpers and chrome pads are in excellent condition. We found some small dents on the right rear bumper. The ornamental chrome (grille, mirror, door handles) is complete, aligned, and in excellent condition. The cabochon of the right rear light has a slight crack. The "Grün" mohair hood has been recently replaced and is in good condition, with no signs of tears, stretching, or wear (Invoice available) Its installation is easy and its waterproofing complies with the standards of the time. The rear PVC mica is perfectly translucent and in excellent condition. The leather hood cover in "Grün" color is also in almost new condition. The 4 original 13'' steel wheels in "Gelb" color are in good condition. These are equipped with their original stainless steel hubcaps in "Gelb" color in good condition, despite some light scratches. The chromed ROBRI type rear hubcaps are also in good condition. This specimen will be equipped with 4 whitewall tires / fine tread before delivery. This specimen comes with its spare wheel, original jack, and internal cover. Among the interesting options and external equipment that this specimen is equipped with, we noted: the leather hood cover in "Grün" color, the chromed ROBRI type rear hubcaps, and the internal storage cover. Interior: The interior has maintained its original configuration and appears in good presentation condition. The original leather upholstery in "Grün" color is in good condition. We found some light signs of wear on the front seats and a small tear on the seam of the driver's seat (10 cm). This specimen is additionally equipped with an emergency rear seat type folding seat located perpendicular to the front seats. (Period option available on the 190SL then on the pagoda, not homologated). We found a slight corrected scratch on the backrest. This specimen is also additionally equipped with a 2-point aviation type seatbelt for the passenger. The leather door panels in "Grün" color are in perfect condition and show no signs of discoloration or stretching. We found a small corrected tear on the driver's door panel. The leather rear shelf in "Grün" color is in excellent condition. The dashboard in "Ivory Elfenben DD608" body color is also in excellent condition.
