The chassis is standard, originally sold with a Limousine body in 1935 in Cologne. In 1936 registered in the Czech Republic. In 1937 rebuilt into a sports body. The Reuter body company produced bodies for many brands and types of vehicles. Fully restored and registered, in ready-to-use condition. Pre-war racing fun or the best collectible car for 'normal' money around. Model description The Mercedes-Benz W15 is part of the Mercedes-Benz W15 series, produced by the German automotive manufacturer Mercedes-Benz from 1932 to 1936. The W15 series included various models, primarily designed for commercial and utility purposes. It was part of Mercedes-Benz's broader strategy to offer a range of vehicles aimed at different market segments. According to researched information, sales documents of the body to individual interested parties are not available. Only a description of a magazine photo in which a racing vehicle with Reuter body is likely equipped with a 1.7 and 2-liter engine (see results 2,000 km). Old photos show the use of the vehicle for racing, around when it was driven on the left side in Bohemia. During the war, many cars in the Czech Republic were converted into trucks to qualify for the permit to buy gasoline.
