The driving sensations of another era are intense and bring you as close to the road as possible. This magical and time-tested recipe will be continuously revised and improved with small subsequent touches that allow the MORGAN to be the only English roadster from the 1950s still in production today. Bodywork / Exterior: The model presented here is a MORGAN 4/4 from September 1972 in its period two-tone "Black/Grey" color. The bodywork was restored a few years ago and is now in good presentation condition. We found various small defects in the paint considering the age of the restoration: patina, streaks, and dust under the paint. The chrome is complete, straight, and perfectly positioned. These show slight surface oxidation. The bumpers and their supports show no major deformations or marked rubbing signs. The black synthetic leather hood is in perfect condition. It is now in good condition, without tears. The micas are perfectly translucent. The assembly is easy, and the waterproofing remains compliant with the original. The 4 Black MORGAN spoke wheels in 15’’ are in excellent condition, with no signs of impacts or deformations. The 4 HANKOOK tires show 15% wear both front and rear. This specimen has retained its 15’’ Black spoke spare wheel as well as its hammer and jack. Among the interesting body equipment and options that this model is equipped with, we found: the badge holder, the chrome fuel cap, and 5 Black MORGAN spoke wheels in 15’’. Interior: The interior was restored a few years ago. The black synthetic leather upholstery is in excellent presentation condition without discoloration or major defects. We found on them a slight patina, worn and homogeneous, as well as a small tear on the passenger seat. The wooden dashboard is neither deformed nor cracked. We noted the absence of the control cover. The black synthetic leather sun visor is in good condition. The entire SMITHS onboard instrumentation is fully functional. This specimen is equipped with a 3-spoke wooden MORGAN steering wheel that shows a patina of use. The bakelite gear knob is in good condition. This specimen is equipped with retractable seat belts. Among the interesting interior equipment and options that this model is equipped with, we found: the wooden dashboard, the 3-spoke wooden MORGAN steering wheel, and the retractable seat belts. Chassis: The lift confirms a sound body and chassis, with no visible signs of accidents or apparent structural corrosion. The fundamentals: body floor, wheel arch floor, wheel passages, ladder frame, and longitudinal beams are in excellent condition. The "wooden" floors are in excellent condition, with no breaks, delaminations, or presence of pests. Usage reserve: as a principle, we cannot guarantee the perfection of the alignments beyond their good visual and functional state validated during the road test and the lift. During the dynamic test, we did not find any abnormal parasitic noise at the level of the body or the rolling trains (bushings, silent blocks...). The road holding has improved with the installation of KONI rear shock absorbers. The braking is aligned, stable, and compliant with period standards.
