It thus achieved good success thanks to an attractive grille that stands out sharply from that of the 204. However, the "novelty" aspect seems a bit exaggerated as the 304 will retain the same body as the 204 and only the front, rear lights, and engine cylinder will be modified. Everything else is identical up to the carburetor which remains the same despite the change in displacement. The 304 C (coupé and cabriolet) will already appear in March 1969 at the Geneva Motor Show. The range will then be completed by several versions: sedan, station wagon, and van. Body / Exterior: The model presented here is a 304 cabriolet from August 1970 in its period color "Alaska White 1304". This is in perfect presentation condition, showing a homogeneous shade and excellent brightness. After a professional polishing carried out with orbitals from our workshop, we found scattered scratches all over the car, as well as corrected paint chips on the edge of the driver's door. The original bumpers are in good condition. The front bumper has some light scratches. This specimen is equipped with a FIAMM trumpet horn. The alpaca hood color "Black" is in excellent condition (Invoice: €1,104). The rear window in PVC has some micro-scratches without affecting rear visibility. The installation of the hood is easy but its fit remains average on the front edges. The 4 14'' steel wheels in "Gray" are in good condition. The BRIDGESTONE tires show 10% wear both front and rear. This specimen is also equipped with its original spare wheel, jack, and crank. Among the interesting Body / Exterior equipment and options that this specimen is equipped with, we found: The FIAMM trumpet horn and the chrome rearview mirrors. Interior: The interior has retained its original configuration and appears in excellent presentation condition. The upholstery in synthetic leather color "Black" was replaced in 2020 (Invoice: €728), and is in excellent condition. The lower seat cover of the driver's seat has a tear. The door panels in synthetic leather color "Black" are in good condition. The dashboard and its visor in synthetic leather are in good condition, without discoloration. The entire original JAEGER dashboard as well as the original JAEGER clock are perfectly functional. The original bakelite steering wheel shows a patina of use. The bakelite gear knob is in good condition. The vintage PHILIPS radio is functional. The black carpets are in perfect condition. Among the interesting Interior equipment that this specimen is equipped with, we noted: The JAEGER clock and the recent upholstery. Chassis: The lift confirms a healthy body, with no signs of accidents or apparent structural corrosion. The fundamentals: side rails, sills, trunk floor, and wheel arches are in good condition. Usage reserve: as a principle, we cannot guarantee the perfection of the alignments beyond their good visual and functional state validated during the road test and the lift. During the dynamic test, we did not notice any abnormal noise at the level of the body or the rolling trains (tie rods, silent blocks...). The braking is balanced, stable, and biting, without vibrations or abnormal noises. The front discs show 30% wear and their pads show 40% wear. The rear drums are perfectly functional and show no signs of leakage. The passage to the technical control confirms.
