To meet the safety requirements of this market, the 911 received new impact-absorbing bumpers whose ends are equipped with deformable bellows. Starting in 1976, the bodywork would receive anti-corrosion treatment through zinc electrolysis. The 2.7L would mark an important turning point within the 911 family, inaugurating the line of the famous "G" models produced until 1989. Bodywork / Exterior: The model presented here is a 911 2.7 Targa from November 1977 in its original Platin diamant 944 color (matching color). The paintwork is in like-new condition and shows excellent brightness and depth. This has been recently restored (photo dossier available). On this occasion, the bodywork was disassembled to receive a complete new paint job including the removal of the following elements: windshield / trim / bumpers / handles and locks. The shell has been completely sanded, treated with primer, and fully painted in the original Platin diamant 944 color (matching color). The bumpers are perfectly aligned and in excellent condition. The Targa roof in "Schwarz" synthetic leather is in good presentation condition. The Targa arch in aluminum is in excellent condition. The tinted windshield and "Grun" tinted windows are also in excellent condition. The electric mirrors do not work. The 4 "Fuchs" type 16'' wheels are in good condition, with no signs of dents or deformations. The 4 PIRELLI tires show 20% wear. This specimen has retained its original "Space Saver" spare wheel. Interior: The interior has retained its original configuration and appears in good presentation condition. The "Beige" synthetic leather upholstery is in good original condition despite slight wear on the seat and a scratch on the driver's seat pass. The driver's seat backrest was partially redone in 2026. The "Beige" synthetic leather door panels as well as the cabin upholstery are in good condition. The "Beige" leather dashboard cover shows some rubbing marks on the driver's side. The entire original VDO onboard instrumentation is fully functional, as is the clock, while the daily odometer does not work. The original 3-spoke steering wheel shows a patina of use and is equipped with a steering wheel cover. The original Bakelite gear knob is in good condition. We noted the absence of sun visors. This specimen also features a fully functional PIONEER CD radio. The "Schwarz" carpets are in excellent condition.
