The vehicle configuration included among other things a headlight washing system, lightweight alloy wheels (7×15 and 8×15 inches), sports seats, Targa roof, 5-speed transmission, as well as tinted windows. The engine and transmission numbers still match the original delivery. The second owner, Mr. Neckam, drove the car for 40 years, from November 1977 to May 2006, for a total of only 57,225 km. Subsequently, the beautiful MFI spent time in a garage. A registration booklet from those years documents the low mileage. On behalf of Mr. Dr. Konradsheim, the vehicle was extensively and well documented and restored by the specialized workshop Sport- und Rennwagenservice Stimming in Bad Segeberg, Schleswig-Holstein, from 2012 to 2017. Before the restoration, the odometer showed 81,336 verifiable kilometers. At the beginning of 2018, the current owner purchased the perfectly restored Targa.
