Its XXL curves and the beastly character of its 930/50 engine originally designed for competition will make this 911 an icon of pure and tough sports cars. The 930 will thus be the most powerful production PORSCHE ever made and the fastest production car in the world. Surprising is the success of this model in a time not favorable to energy-consuming vehicles, PORSCHE will ultimately produce 2,873 units. Legend has it that some test journalists refused to get behind the wheel, judging this dragster too brutal and too dangerous. This is where all the interest in this model with such a bipolar personality lies. Like all PORSCHEs, the 930 knows how to move quietly in the city on a thread of gas, but as soon as the big single turbo starts to blow, the 260 horsepower arrive suddenly, without any progressivity or electronic assistance: it is the famous "kick" typical of turbo engines of those years. It is violent, very impressive, and not to be put in just any hands because it is difficult to use "strongly". Bodywork / Exterior: The model presented here is a 930 Turbo 3.0L from January 1977 in its original color "Platinum Metallic / W1" (corresponding color / PORSCHE France certificate). The body paint is in perfect condition, showing a uniform shade and excellent shine. After a polishing performed with an orbit from our workshop, we noticed some very light defects under the paint on the front hood. This specimen is equipped with the rear wiper option. This is perfectly functional. Only the headlight washers are no longer functional. The bumpers are perfectly positioned and in excellent condition. The 4 FUCHS 16'' wheels with "Schwarz" background and polished offset have been restored and are in near-new condition. This specimen is equipped with 4 HANKOOK Ventus V2 tires with less than 10% wear both front and rear. This specimen also has its original "space saver" spare wheel and its tool kit. Among the interesting Bodywork / exterior equipment and options that this specimen is equipped with, we noted: the rear wiper and the 4 FUCHS 16'' wheels in new condition. Interior: The interior has maintained its strict original configuration and appears in excellent presentation condition. The original "Cork Leather / 88" leather upholstery (corresponding color / PORSCHE France Certificate) is in excellent condition, with no signs of tears, stretching, or stitching defects. We noticed a slight sagging of the outer edge and some light cracks on the driver's seat. The dashboard and its cover are in excellent condition, with no cracks or breaks. The entire VDO on-board instrumentation and the original clock are fully functional. Only the central locking is no longer functional. This version is equipped with openable rear doors. This specimen is equipped with a RETROSOUND radio and rear seat belts. The original "Schwarz" 3-spoke leather steering wheel and the gear knob show a uniform patina. The original leather door trims in "Cork Leather / 88" color matched to the
