Our model This Volvo P1800S was delivered in California where it spent its entire life before arriving in France in 2018. Immediately after the purchase, our crazy project began to make it a showcase of our know-how in restoration. Absolutely all phases of bodywork/painting, mechanics, and upholstery were carried out in-house. Conscious decisions were made regarding the color combination. The chosen exterior color is Opalescent Golden Sand, a shade present in the Jaguar catalog of the same period (Type E) associated with a fully leather-lined red interior. Wire wheels have been adapted to make the overall configuration as harmonious as possible. It benefited from a complete restoration in our workshops between 2022 and 2023. In total, over 1500 hours of work were required to create this work of art on wheels. All invoices are available in the file, amounting to over €77,000! Absolutely everything has been reviewed and received the utmost attention in this millimetric reconstruction: the bodywork, the alignments, the paint which was then polished, the rolling trains up to the completely redone engine interior. The chrome is original: bumpers and side strips have been rechromed. A photographic dossier of the restoration is available. The reflections of this shade in the sunlight enhance the sculptural lines of this Volvo and the warm interior fully dressed in red will end up enchanting you. The French gray card is in the collection. The FFVE certificate is present in the file.
